Introduction
These pages contain an extended family history
collection that encompasses several hundred
related families from Ireland and the United
Kingdom. A complete list of over 400 family
names is shown on the Families page, along with
descendant charts and ancestor charts.
Purpose
The purpose of this web site is to share the
author's extended family history collection with
potential cousins interested in tracing their own
family history. Hopefully, some of the information
contained herein will benefit other genealogists
and, should you find an overlap with your family
tree, it is hoped that in return you may be prepared
to share information with the author of this site.
Geography
All of the author's known ancestors hail from Ireland
(mainly County Mayo and County Waterford) and
Great Britain (mainly the counties of Cornwall and
Kent). However, some of their descendants
emigrated to the USA, Canada, and Australia.
Sources of data
A large part of the information included in the family trees and biographies has been kindly provided by cousins and relatives. Some data has come from various genealogical reference sources, many of which are listed on the Resources page. There are about 1,700 names in the "Gallagher" family tree as of May 2010 which appears in a more complete and searchable form on the Genes Reunited web site.
Details of living people have been omitted from this web site for reasons of privacy, and to avoid the unfortunate potential for identity theft.

This web site is maintained entirely at the expense of the author and has no commercial sponsorship or affiliation. It will continue to be updated as more information becomes available.
